The Cybersecurity Department was established pursuant to the Royal Order No. 5232, dated 24/02/1441 AH, which stipulates the establishment of an independent department concerned with cybersecurity. The decision of His Excellency the President of the University of Hafr Al-Batin No. 41/057/5233 was issued in 1441 AH to establish the department. The department adopts an approach aimed at enhancing cybersecurity, protecting the university’s technical assets, and managing potential risks associated with cyber threats, in order to ensure the continuity of the university’s educational, research, and administrative operations.
