About Faculty

The College of Arts is one of the largest colleges at the University of Hafr Al Batin, a public Saudi university located in the Eastern Province. The University was established under Royal Decree No. (20937), dated 02/06/1435 AH (3 April 2014), during the reign of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

The College comprises five academic departments: the Department of Islamic Studies, the Department of Arabic Language, the Department of English Language and Translation, the Department of Social Work, and the Department of Social Studies.

The College awards the Bachelor of Arts degree in Islamic Studies, Arabic Language, Social Work, and English Language (Translation Track). The Department of Social Studies offers supporting academic courses but does not confer a bachelor's degree.

The College's vision and mission are founded upon the University's core values and strategic direction, which are inspired by the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030. Through its academic and research activities, the College contributes to national development, serves the community, prepares qualified professionals in the humanities, and enriches scholarly research within its fields of specialization.

The College places the educational environment among its highest priorities. Students receive continuous academic support, guidance, encouragement, and mentoring, while faculty members are provided with professional development opportunities and comprehensive institutional support. The College is committed to creating an academic environment that fosters excellence, innovation, productivity, and a strong sense of belonging to the University of Hafr Al Batin.

It is my pleasure to welcome visitors to the official website of the College of Arts at the University of Hafr Al Batin, as well as the College's faculty members, administrative staff, and students. Through this website, you can learn about the College, its vision, mission, objectives, and academic programs.

The College of Arts is one of the largest colleges at the University of Hafr Al Batin in terms of student enrollment. It comprises five academic departments: the Department of Islamic Studies, the Department of Arabic Language, the Department of English Language and Translation, the Department of Social Work, and the Department of Social Studies. The College awards the Bachelor of Arts degree in Islamic Studies, Arabic Language, English Language (Translation Track), and Social Work, while the Department of Social Studies serves as a supporting academic unit and does not offer a bachelor's degree.

One of the College's foremost priorities is preserving our national identity, the Arabic language, and our Islamic heritage while producing educational outcomes that contribute to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's comprehensive development.
