His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of the Eastern Province, witnessed the signing ceremony of a memorandum of understanding between the University of Hafr Al Batin and Hafr Al Batin Municipality. The ceremony was held in the presence of His Highness Prince Abdulrahman bin Abdullah bin Faisal, Governor of Hafr Al Batin, the University President, Prof. Dr. Khalid bin Bani Al-Harbi, and a number of university leaders.
The memorandum of understanding was signed on behalf of the university by the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Mohammed bin Atiq Al-Anzi, and on behalf of the municipality by the Mayor of Hafr Al Batin Governorate, Eng. Khalaf bin Hamdan Al-Otaibi.
The University President, Prof. Dr. Khalid bin Bani Al-Harbi, explained that the memorandum aims to promote cooperation between the two entities by unifying efforts in education, training, scientific research, and community service across various fields and joint training programs that serve both parties, support the university’s strategic objectives, and contribute to achieving the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
The signing of this memorandum comes as a continuation of the university’s efforts to support its male and female students in the fields of training, qualification, and capacity development. It also reflects the university’s belief in the importance of preparing students who are academically and practically distinguished, and in qualifying national cadres trained in the latest technologies required to keep pace with rapid modern changes, enabling them to successfully enter the labor market.
