The Investment Department was established under the University Vice Presidency, based on the university’s commitment to exploring the best means through which the spaces and locations affiliated with the university can be optimally utilized and prepared to attract promising investment opportunities that contribute to the university’s self-generated revenues.

The Investment Department was established under the University Vice Presidency, based on the university’s commitment to exploring the best means through which the spaces and locations affiliated with the university can be optimally utilized and prepared to attract promising investment opportunities that contribute to the university’s self-generated revenues. The department is responsible for identifying and determining locations suitable for investment, following up on revenue collection and addressing obstacles that affect collection, participating in certain committees such as the Investment Committee and the Committee for Estimating the Minimum Rental Value, maintaining the data of invested sites in a dedicated archive containing contract and collection records, studying and analyzing proposals, drafting and preparing investment and lease contracts, developing mechanisms that contribute to diversifying the university’s sources of income, preparing the terms and specifications documents for investing in university facilities, and following up on and implementing the decisions of the Investment Committee.
