Independent Accounts Department

The Independent Accounts Department is concerned with planning and monitoring the university’s self-generated resources in order to achieve financial sustainability, oversee its expenditures, and serve as an instrument for providing financial liquidity in accordance with the university’s aspirations and ambitions.

Developing the university’s self-generated resources, improving spending efficiency, and contributing to the growth of its revenues.

Working to improve the development of self-generated resources that would increase the university’s revenues, thereby supporting the achievement of its objectives in accordance with Saudi Vision 2030.

  • Directing the university’s self-generated revenues toward achieving the university’s objectives and vision.
  • Fulfilling the governance and administrative transparency requirements necessary for managing the university’s self-generated revenues.
  • Implementing the university’s policies aimed at increasing its self-generated revenues arising from educational programs, paid research and consulting services, returns on the investment of its funds, revenues from its properties, and the proceeds resulting from their disposal.
  • Regulating, organizing, and following up on the financial affairs of all programs and projects self-funded by the university, and coordinating their operations in accordance with applicable regulations.
  • Organizing recruitment procedures under the self-generated revenues budget, and clarifying contracting mechanisms, job benefits, and employees’ duties and rights.
