The University Security Administration was established in 1436 AH, and it is responsible for supervising security affairs across all facilities and buildings in all branches. Its current name was changed, following the approval of His Excellency the University President, to the University Security Administration, in order to develop the organizational structure and job descriptions for security work in a manner that ensures the preservation of lives and property and complies with security standards and rules.
Achieving security in its comprehensive sense across the university and its branches, and expanding security coverage to all university buildings and facilities.
