The University of Hafr Al Batin signed a memorandum of cooperation with Middle East Healthcare Company “Saudi German Health Group” on the sidelines of the Global Health Exhibition held in Riyadh, with the aim of strengthening partnership in the fields of scientific research, innovation, education, training, and community service.
The memorandum was signed on behalf of the university by the Vice Rector for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Dr. Badr bin Jamaan Al-Shaari, and on behalf of Saudi German Health Group by the Group Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Nizar Bahabri, in the presence of a number of representatives from both sides.
The memorandum aims to develop cooperation in implementing applied research projects in medical and health fields of national priority, provide clinical and practical training opportunities for male and female university students at the group’s hospitals, organize workshops and training programs to develop the skills of medical and administrative personnel, and implement awareness initiatives and programs that contribute to community service.
Dr. Badr Al-Shaari explained that the signing of the memorandum comes as an extension of the university’s efforts to build strategic partnerships with public and private sector institutions, thereby enhancing the progress of applied scientific research and contributing to the preparation of qualified national competencies capable of competing effectively.
He also indicated that the agreement will contribute to improving the efficiency of medical training and education, developing scientific research outputs, and supporting the quality of healthcare services, in alignment with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
