The university, represented by the University Vice Rectorate – Volunteering Department, in cooperation with the General Administration of Institutional Communication, participated in the initiative of the National Center for Vegetation Cover Development and Combating Desertification, coinciding with International Volunteer Day 2025. The initiative aims to promote environmental volunteering and foster a culture of giving and social responsibility.
This participation comes as part of the university’s efforts to contribute to distinguished national initiatives that enhance environmental sustainability and support the Kingdom’s directions toward developing vegetation cover and combating desertification. It also seeks to empower university staff and students to engage in volunteer work that serves both society and the environment.
Through this participation, the university seeks to strengthen its awareness-raising role, expand the scope of volunteer initiatives, and reinforce the values of teamwork and environmental citizenship, in alignment with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
