Under the patronage of His Excellency the University President, Prof. Dr. Khalid bin Bani Al-Harbi, and in the presence of the university vice rectors, the University of Hafr Al Batin, represented by the University Vice Rectorate – Volunteering Department, and in cooperation with the General Administration of Institutional Communication, organized a meeting on the occasion of International Volunteer Day.
The meeting witnessed the inauguration of the Volunteering Department and the launch of an initiative to plant agricultural seedlings, in addition to a visual presentation highlighting the significance of Volunteer Day and the establishment of the department.
The program also included several key themes, most notably introducing the department, highlighting the impact of volunteering on individuals and society, and emphasizing the role of community partnerships in promoting a culture of volunteering.
The meeting also featured a first aid workshop presented by the Medical Center.
This meeting was organized as part of the university’s commitment to supporting the culture of volunteering and reinforcing its role in serving the community.
