In line with the Vision of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (2030), and based on the provisions of the new Saudi Universities Law issued by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, may God protect him, which has brought about a remarkable qualitative transformation in the trajectory of Saudi universities founded on empowerment, excellence, and quality, and in contribution to the development of the research process, and in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030 as well as the strategic plan, vision, and mission of the University of Hafr Al Batin, the Medical and Applied Research Center was established as a leading entity in conducting health research. It stems from the University’s mission of serving the community and aims to be a national and global reference that adopts best research practices.
The Center strives for excellence in diverse medical research across various disciplines and seeks to enhance the status of scientific and applied research in the medical field at the local, regional, and global levels. It draws its impact from the distinguished standing of the University of Hafr Al Batin and its rapid progress toward an academic and research environment in which accurate scientific information serves as a cornerstone for building innovative scientific strength and a knowledge-based economy. The Medical Research Center is also considered the first of its kind in the Hafr Al Batin region and its affiliated cities, which have a distinctive character in terms of research and community healthcare services in the fields of basic and clinical medical research.
We pray that the Center will achieve the aspirations and ambitions of the University of Hafr Al Batin in alignment with its strategic objectives.
