The College of Science was established pursuant to Royal Decree No. (20937) dated 06/02/1435 AH, and since then it has played an active role in preparing qualified national competencies in various scientific specializations. The college includes five academic departments: biology, physics, chemistry, mathematics, and sports sciences and physical activity, which work in an integrated manner to provide quality educational programs based on solid scientific foundations and modern educational practices.

The college is keen to keep pace with the rapid transformations in the fields of science, by developing its academic programs, in a way that enhances the readiness of graduates and meets the needs of the labor market and the requirements of national development.

The college also pays great attention to scientific research, as it is a fundamental pillar of progress and innovation, and seeks to support distinguished scientific production and encourage applied research that contributes to addressing societal challenges and enhancing the knowledge economy, in line with the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
