In light of the development and digital transformation that our beloved Kingdom is witnessing in all fields, which is one of the most important goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, the College of Computer Science and Engineering was established to contribute to building the educational infrastructure to qualify specialized generations capable of meeting the nation’s needs in the various fields of computer science, which are the backbone of life, competition, and leadership in this era. The college is witnessing a relentless movement for the better in embodying the university’s strategy in achieving academic accreditation and building an integrated system characterized by quality and regional and global leadership. The college also seeks to achieve the university’s vision, which aims to achieve academic excellence, creativity, and innovation in university education and prepare students with modern scientific and practical knowledge and skills and contribute to building a more aware society.
Today, hundreds of male and female students are enrolled in the college, studying various technical specializations to participate with their colleagues from all the various educational institutions in the Kingdom in building a prosperous and pioneering future among the countries of the world. The college also includes many qualified and distinguished faculty members in various technical fields to provide the highest quality of education using the latest academic means and technical methods to deliver the scientific content of the curricula and improve the program outcomes.
I would also like to note that the college is constantly seeking - in accordance with its strategic plan - to develop its curricula and programs to keep pace with developments in modern technology sciences and specializations, and to focus on qualifying its outputs in accordance with international standards, spreading the culture of creativity and innovation, and encouraging scientific research and interaction between faculty members and students. The college also enjoys generous patronage and unlimited continuous support from the university’s leaders, led by His Excellency the University President, to ensure the success of its educational mission and achieve its vision of improving its academic outcomes and achieving its goals.
