The College of Nursing is one of the distinguished academic colleges at the University of Hafr Al Batin, recognized for excellence in scientific research, education, and community service. The College takes pride in the outstanding performance of its graduates, who have achieved the highest scores in the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties licensure examination. It remains committed to fulfilling the vision, mission, and strategic objectives of both the College and the University.
Teaching in the Nursing Department, formerly within the College of Applied Medical Sciences, began for female students in the 2012–2013 academic year, followed by the admission of male students in the 2020–2021 academic year. By the end of the 2022–2023 academic year, ten cohorts had successfully graduated from the program. The Nursing Department was subsequently established as the College of Nursing in the 2024–2025 academic year.
The College of Nursing is committed to implementing modern quality concepts in academic practice and aims to equip its graduates with the practical skills and academic knowledge necessary for professional excellence. This is achieved through the integration of modern technologies, diverse learning resources, practical training, and scientific research projects. The College also encourages students to continuously expand their knowledge in the basic sciences, applied sciences, and clinical sciences.
